This 32 page, Assembly Manual contains the information required for the unpacking and assembly of the 1978 Yamaha XS650E after engine serial# 2F0-006501, so that the Yamaha serviceman can assemble the machine in the correct manner. Great for shipping a bike and prepping it from storage. This is a reproduction of the original, out of print, book.
To perform assembly, a basic knowledge of service and Yamaha machines is required. This assembly manual should be used in conjunction with the Service manual and Parts list for this motorcycle.
This manual includes wiring diagram and specifications. It is however is not a replacement for a service manual.
