This tractor is powered by a four-cylinder diesel engine conveying power to rear wheels through a conventional clutch and a transmission offering four forward and one reverse speeds. A speed reduction unit doubles range of speeds to eight forward and two reverse. Rear wheels are differential driven, which may be locked to prevent slippage. Two counterweights that rotate opposite to and at twice crankshaft speed serve to reduce vibration. They alternate in magnitude in a direction opposite to that of engine imbalance, which is offset. Engine is cooled through a radiator. A 12-volt a Iter na tor- fed system provides electricity for starter and lights. Timing is accomplished by a fuel injection pump and camshaft. A hydraulic lift offers implement control with optional add-on controls for other equipment.
