Ducati Super Bikes
OUT OF PRINT by Paolo Conti
When Ducati became part of the Cagiva Group in 1985, the availability of new financial resources gave Ducati the means to regain its former health. The first focus was to rejuvenate Ducati's racing image and, based upon that foundation, to build a solid, commercially viable motorcycle for consumer sale. Those objectives were met through the development of Desmoquattro technology: four-cylinder engines with desmodromic valve actuators. The story of the Desmoquattro shows how racing goals were married to commercial objectives to recapture Ducati's glorious tradition. An oversized book filled with brilliant color photos, this will give Ducati fans many hours of reading pleasure.
