This Manual has been prepared to provide information for servicing the AD3. 152 Diesel Engine in the MF 2244 Crawler Tractor. This information is specific to the MF 2244 application and should be used in conjunction with the service information for the AD3. 152 Engine, as contained in Group O – Section L. The Diesel Engine for the MF 2244 Tractor, as shown in Fig. 1 and 2, is a three cylinder engine, using dry cast iron cylinder liners, with a bore of 3. 6 inches and a stroke of five inches. The engine has a total piston displacement of 152. 7 cubic inches and a compression ratio of 18. 5 to 1. Engine brake horsepower is approximately 44 @ 2250 rpm with all standard accessories. Maximum engine torque is 119 ft.-lbs. at an engine speed of approximately 1300 rpm.
The AD3.152 Engine in the MF 2244 Crawler Tractor is essentially the same engine as used in the other Massey-Ferguson applications. There are, however, several differences due to the different tractor application.
